About "The Kasauli Club Ltd."
The present Kasauli Club was established as “The Kasauli Reading and Assembly Rooms” in 1880. On 01
Jan 1898, it came to be known as “Kasauli Club” by a resolution, wherein it was stated that the
management of the Kasauli Reading & Assembly Rooms being unsatisfactory, it was desired that the
Management should be in the hands of Army Officers & Civil Servants residing in Kasauli Cantonment. Thus
after the resolution, ‘Kasauli Reading and Assembly Rooms’ was registered as “Kasauli Club” on 21st Sep
1898 at the Registrar’s Office, Lahore. The Club was later renamed as “The Kasauli Club Ltd” and is now
governed by the Companies Act 1956.
The year 1900 seemed to be an important year in the growth of the Club, when a kitchen and residential
quarters were constructed and later the esteemed club climbed from strength to strength with the Bar,
Billiards Room, Guests Rooms, Tennis Courts being further created. The Kasauli Club in a very short time
